I’m currently filing a complaint to the board of medical licensing for her behavior. Repeatedly told me that rape and abuse weren’t “bad” or “wrong”, essentially endorsed by abusers and told me it was my fault for being hurt by them. I think she’s a genuine danger to those with trauma, who she purports to help, because she honestly believes that abuse is only wrong when you don’t want to be abused. It seems she doesn’t understand how abuse works, let alone recovering from such a thing, and only wants to tell you to “just deal with it” because “your rapist didnt know they were raping you, so maybe its on you.” Anorexia, other eating disorders, and forms of self harm are encouraged because again, its not bad or wrong if you want to do it.

I would recommend Alexis to anyone who wants to be heard and not judged.

I’m seeing Alexis currently and I have only good things to say about her.

I know I can speak to her about anything. She’s attentive and doesn’t try to instill her opinions or beliefs in you. Instead, she helps you navigate your feelings by asking thought-provoking questions.

Alexis is an excellent provider! She is genuine and hears everything I say. She makes an effort to understand what I am feeling inside. I switched insurance carriers but refuse to change her as my provider. 🙂
